Cubana Chief Priest has spoken more about his recent loss in the APC primary election for the Orsu/Orlu/Oru East Federal Constituency seat in Imo State ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The businessman, who was reportedly defeated in the party’s House of Representatives ticket contest, shared his experience during a live Twitch session with Nigerian streamer Peller.
He claimed that during the election process, several people gave him false assurances of victory, which led him to spend large sums of money in different places based on those promises.

According to him, he reportedly spent about N50 million and another N20 million at different stages, only to eventually lose the primary election.
He added that recovering the money would be difficult since there were no formal receipts or documented agreements for the transactions.
Despite the setback, he said the experience taught him valuable lessons about politics and confirmed that he is not giving up on his political ambitions.
He expressed plans to contest in future elections, stressing the importance of persistence in political life.

He also referenced global political figures such as Barack Obama and Donald Trump, noting that they both faced challenges before achieving success.
He further encouraged young Nigerians to participate actively in politics, saying stronger youth involvement would help improve national development.
