Presidential campaign spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar during the 2023 elections, Daniel Bwala, had another encounter with President Bola Tinubu in France on Monday. This meeting occurred two weeks after their initial meeting at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja.
President Tinubu, who departed the country last Wednesday for a private visit to Paris, engaged in discussions with Bwala. The legal practitioner, expressing his readiness to support the Tinubu-led administration, declared his willingness to work alongside it, even if it meant defecting from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
During a chat with State House correspondents after their closed-door meeting, Bwala affirmed his commitment to Tinubu’s leadership, stating, “I told him today, I am committing to play my part to support your administration, and I have no apologies to anybody. APC is a party. President Bola Tinubu is my motivation; if supporting him will take me to APC, so be it.”
Delighted by the visit, Bwala shared the moment on X, posting a picture of him in a handshake with President Tinubu and a 13-second clip of the event. In his post, he expressed his delight and appreciation for the bold decisions Tinubu is taking to address the challenges facing Nigeria.
This continued interaction suggests growing collaboration between Bwala and Tinubu, raising speculation about potential political realignments and partnerships in the future.
