#Today 21st of Ramadhan 1445AH (31 March 2024)

IMG_3452Night 21: “Oh Allah, You are forgiving and love forgiveness, so forgive me.” Endeavour to worship Allah more on the odd nights of the last 10 days of Ramadan. Recite YA AFUWU (100) SUBUHANAKA ANTA ALLAHU AL- AZIZUL MUJIB (71).

Asallamun alaikum warahamatulah.

I seek Allah’s refuge against the accursed Satan.

In the name of Allah ,the Beneficent ,the Merciful.

[Quran 24:22] *Those of you who have affluence and means should not refuse to give to the relatives, and the needy, and the emigrants for the sake of Allah. And let them pardon, and let them overlook. Do you not love for Allah to pardon you? Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful* .

May Allah guide us ,and may He make it easy for us…ameen

The Imam of Masjid Al-Haram, Shaykh Abdur Rahman Al, has given an excellent formula for the last ten days of Ramadan.

1.  Donate one dirham (one rupee) every day, if the day falls between Lailatul Qadr, you will get the reward of donating one rupee every day for 84 years or 1000 months.

2.  Perform two rak’at nafal prayers daily, if the day falls in the middle of Lailatul Qadr, you will get the reward of performing two rak’at nafal prayers daily for up to 84 years.

3.  Recite Surah Ikhlas three times daily, if the day falls in the middle of Lailatul Qadr, you will get the reward of reciting one Khatam Qur’an every day for 84 years.

He also said, spread these words among the people, those who will listen to your words and do deeds, you too will get rewards equal to their deeds, inshallah.  Because the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “The one who guides good deeds will receive the same amount of reward as the doer, but there will be no deficiency in the reward of the doer.”  (Muslim, 2674)

May Allah grant us all to do more deeds.  Amen.

*And the Last Lap is the Most Important – Seeking Laylatul Qadr with Yourself and Family*

Narrated ‘A’isha (Allah be pleased with her):

*When the last ten nights (of Ramadhan) would begin, the Messenger of Allah () would keep awake at night (for prayer and devotion), awaken his family and prepare himself to be more diligent in worship.*

Al-Bukhari and Muslim

In another narration,

‘A’isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that *Allah’s Messenger () used to exert himself in devotion during the last ten nights to a greater extent than at any other time.*

*NOTES 📝*

1. The last ten days of Ramadhan are the best nights of the year. In it is the Laylatul Qadr (Night of Decree), which is better than a (worship of) a thousand months, as Allah Almighty mentioned His Book (Surah al-Qadr, 97, ayah 3). Therefore, the Prophet was very deligent in striving in worshiping his Lord in these nights, and he urged his family to do so.

2. Ibn Rajab reminds believers of the briefness of Ramadhan and urging believers to seize the remaining days and nights with excellence in deeds. He emphasizes the importance of concluding the month on a positive note, as actions are judged by their endings. Believers are urged to make the most of the remaining time, bidding farewell to Ramadhan with righteous deeds that serve as witnesses before Allah. Ibn Rajab stresses the significance of parting with Ramadhan in the best possible manner, offering it the purest farewell and salutation. – Lataa-if al-Ma’aarif, Ibn Rajab

3. The hadith highlights the importance of seizing opportunities to engage in righteous deeds, particularly during auspicious times like the last ten days of Ramadhan. It advises individuals striving in worship to safeguard themselves from anything that may hinder their dedication. Furthermore, it emphasizes the wisdom in promoting goodness within one’s family and highlights the responsibility of guiding and protecting them from spiritual harm. This includes encouraging family members to worship, exhibiting patience with them, and ensuring their safety from the punishment of Hellfire.

4. Today, before fajr (dawn), marks the beginning of the last ten nights of Ramadhan. Remember to recite the supplication for Laylatul Qadr: “Allahumma innaka afuwwun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa’fu annaa” (O Allah, You are forgiving and love forgiveness, so forgive us).

*O Allah, accept this (worship) from us, for You are the All-Hearing, All-Knowing. O Allah, You are forgiving and love forgiveness, so forgive us … Ãmeen*
