American entrepreneur and media personality James, host of The School of Hard Knocks, expressed amazement after touring the Lagos residence of billionaire businessman Tony Elumelu before sitting down for an exclusive interview.
The visit marked James’ first trip to Nigeria, where he has been meeting some of the nation’s leading business figures, including Aliko Dangote, Tony Elumelu, and Iyinoluwa Aboyeji.

Ahead of the interview, James asked one of Elumelu’s executive assistants what he believed was responsible for the billionaire’s remarkable success.
In response, the aide said Elumelu approaches everything with excellence, insisting that every task must be done to the highest standard.

Another member of Elumelu’s team explained that the mansion is located on Bourdillon Road in Ikoyi, one of Lagos’ most prestigious neighbourhoods, and estimated its value to be between $18 million and $20 million.
During the tour, James admired several luxury features of the property, including two full-sized swimming pools, a resort-style outdoor space, a tennis court, and vast landscaped grounds.

Impressed by the estate, the American interviewer likened Bourdillon to California’s Beverly Hills, noting the exceptional size and elegance of the residence.
Moments later, Tony Elumelu came out to receive his guest, and James, who had travelled from Texas, began the much-anticipated interview.
