According to Corriere dello Sport, Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has agreed to a lucrative €16 million-per-year contract with Turkish champions Galatasaray.
The 26-year-old forward, who spent the entire previous season on loan at the Istanbul-based club, is said to have expressed his desire to remain with them permanently. Osimhen played a pivotal role in Galatasaray’s successful campaign, helping the team clinch both the Turkish Super Lig title and the League Cup.
With limited interest from top European clubs this summer, Osimhen is now reportedly keen to commit his future to Galatasaray.
In a bid to secure the Super Eagles star, Galatasaray has received strong financial backing from its sponsors, who are reportedly willing to assist in activating his €75 million release clause at Napoli.
