Osimhen ready to join Arsenal if Gunners agree transfer fee
Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen is reportedly open to joining Arsenal this summer if the Premier League champions change their position and agree to meet the Turkish club’s asking price.
Osimhen has emerged as a potential target for Arsenal, with manager Mikel Arteta keen to strengthen his attacking options with another proven striker.
The Gunners are believed to be considering their options following Viktor Gyokeres’ inconsistent first season, while Gabriel Jesus is expected to leave the club.
Arsenal had previously shown interest in Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez, but the Spanish club has rejected several approaches for the Argentina international.
The possibility of an Osimhen move to north London emerged after Galatasaray contacted Arsenal over potential deals involving Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri.
However, Galatasaray are currently reluctant to let Osimhen leave and are expected to demand a significant transfer fee before considering his departure.
Despite the Turkish club’s stance, Osimhen is said to be ready to give the green light to a move to Arsenal should the two clubs
reach an agreement over his transfer.
