Victor Osimhen has reportedly rejected a January move to Manchester United, choosing to stay with Galatasaray until the end of the season.
According to La Repubblica, the Nigerian international turned down the Premier League club’s approach despite his impressive track record as Serie A’s top scorer in the 2022/23 season. Currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, Osimhen has been in outstanding form, tallying 13 goals and five assists in 16 appearances across all competitions.
Osimhen’s contract with Napoli runs until June 2026, but his release clause will drop to €75 million in the summer—a development that has reportedly frustrated Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis, who had hoped for a more profitable transfer this January.
Despite Manchester United’s interest, the 26-year-old forward remains focused on completing the season in Turkey.
