A video showing bandits cracking jokes with an expatriate on an open field has gone viral.
The location, names of the bandits or the identity of the white man could not be ascertained.
Headlinenews.news correspondents forwarded this video of the abduction of an expatriate Supervisor on a construction road project along the Zaria – Sokoto Road Project on Tuesday the 16th April 2024.
It is important that this issue of banditry is addressed and reduced as soon as possible as the need of expatriate supervisors for the standard implementation of Projects is vital for sustainable infrastructural development in Nigeria today.
We hope the relevant authorities will make all effort to rescue this expatriate so as not to discourage Foreign Direct Investment and provide the required assurance to foreigners working in the construction industry in Nigeria.
