A video showing controversial content creator and street DJ, Ademola Abiodun, popularly known as DJ Chicken, at a police station has gone viral, attracting widespread reactions on social media.
The footage surfaced as the entertainer continues to face legal proceedings over alleged threatening comments directed at Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu.
In the clip, DJ Chicken is seen sitting at a desk in a white singlet while writing what appeared to be a statement. Unlike his usual outspoken and energetic personality on social media, he appeared quiet and composed throughout the recording.
The video was shared online with captions suggesting that the content creator looked unusually humble, drawing attention to the contrast between his online behavior and his appearance at the police station.
The footage quickly circulated across social media platforms, with users expressing mixed opinions. While some mocked his calm demeanor, others urged the public not to rush to judgment, noting that the matter is still before the court.
DJ Chicken was arrested after a viral video in which he allegedly made threatening remarks against Seyi Tinubu. He was later arraigned before an Ikeja Magistrate Court on charges bordering on alleged threats to life, publishing offensive content online, and conduct capable of causing a breach of public peace.
He pleaded not guilty to all the charges brought against him.
Although the court granted him bail, he remained in custody after failing to immediately meet the bail conditions. His trial is ongoing as authorities continue with the legal process.
The case has continued to attract public attention, with some Nigerians calling for his release while others are awaiting the court’s final decision.
