#Wigwe’s Family Rejects Generational Curse Assertion by Apostle Suleman

In response to Apostle Johnson Suleman’s recent assertions regarding a generational curse allegedly affecting the family of the late Access Bank Group Chief Executive Officer, Herbert Wigwe, the family has issued a statement to address and refute the inaccuracies presented in the video.

Labeling Suleman’s claims as unsubstantiated and potentially harmful, the family emphasized the need for religious leaders to exercise caution and refrain from making provocative statements that could exacerbate the grief of those in mourning.

A close member of the Wigwe family provided a rebuttal to Suleman’s assertions, challenging the accuracy of his narrative. While acknowledging the tragic loss of Herbert’s elder brother, Osita, in a car accident 27 years ago, the family clarified that the individual referred to as Naomi, who passed away in a car crash involving then-minister Dapo Sarumi in 2000, was not a sibling of Herbert but a distant cousin.

Expressing deep sorrow over the dissemination of the erroneous account in mainstream media and social networking sites, the family appealed for restraint and empathy from both religious leaders and the general public during this period of profound mourning.

“In light of recent events, the family earnestly seeks the support and prayers of the Nigerian community, emphasizing the importance for pastors to prioritize providing comfort over engaging in speculation or baseless assertions that could compound existing distress,” the statement concluded.

Herbert, along with his wife Chizoba, first son Chizi, and former Chairman of the Nigerian Exchange Limited, Bimbo Ogunbanjo, tragically lost their lives in the ill-fated flight that crashed along the California-Nevada border. Herbert was known for his dedication to philanthropy, nation-building, advocacy for children’s literacy, and art, as well as his commitment to spreading the Christian faith.Breaking news HeadlineHeadline news
