Christian Genocide: Details Of Meeting Between US War Secretary, Hegseth, Nigerian Delegation Emerges

The U.S. Office of the Secretary of War has released details of its recent meeting with a Nigerian delegation led by National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu.

According to Sean Parnell, Public Affairs Advisor to the Secretary of War, Ribadu and his team met with Secretary Pete Hegseth at the Pentagon on November 20. The visit followed President Donald Trump’s warning to take action against jihadist groups responsible for attacks on Christians in Nigeria.

The Nigerian delegation included Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Bianca Ojukwu, Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun, Attorney General Lateef Fagbemi, and Chief of Defence Staff Gen. Olufemi Oluyede.

Parnell said discussions focused on curbing violence against Christians and tackling jihadist groups in West Africa. Hegseth urged Nigeria to show stronger commitment and take urgent, long-term measures to end religious violence. He also reaffirmed the U.S. readiness to work alongside Nigeria to deter and weaken terrorist networks.Headline news
