Russian television host Vladimir Solovyov has stirred fresh controversy after calling for military strikes against several European countries over their support for Ukraine.
Speaking on his programme, Solovyov argued that Russia should not hesitate to target countries like the United Kingdom, Norway, Germany, and Romania, claiming they host facilities producing weapons used by Ukraine in the ongoing war.
According to him, the conflict has reached a stage where Russia must take more aggressive steps rather than holding back. He suggested that striking such locations would send a strong message and potentially change how those countries respond to the war.
Solovyov also questioned why Russia should fear retaliation, insisting that Western nations are already deeply involved by supporting Ukraine militarily.
His remarks come amid heightened tensions between Russia and Western allies backing Ukraine, with growing concerns globally about the risk of further escalation beyond the current battlefield.
