RUSSIA SAYS THREE-WAY TALKS WITH UKRAINE, US COULD RESUME

Russia has said that three-way negotiations involving Moscow, Ukraine and the United States could resume as diplomatic efforts to end the ongoing war continue.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russia remains open to returning to the trilateral format, although he noted that there is currently no specific date or location for another round of discussions.

The development comes after recent diplomatic engagements involving US representatives and the leaders of Russia and Ukraine. The meetings are part of Washington’s efforts to revive negotiations aimed at finding a possible resolution to the conflict.

Previous rounds of talks failed to produce a major breakthrough, with territorial disputes and the future of areas occupied by Russia remaining among the most difficult issues separating Moscow and Kyiv.

Ukraine has also indicated its willingness to participate in further negotiations, while the United States continues to push for diplomatic engagement between the two countries.

Despite the renewed discussions, major differences remain between Russia and Ukraine, and it is still unclear whether a new round of three-way talks will lead to a significant breakthrough.
