Emirates Airlines has reported steady and healthy load factors on its Lagos-Dubai route since resuming operations in Nigeria last year.
In a statement, the airline highlighted its premium offerings, noting that it is one of the only two airlines operating First Class into Lagos. Emirates’ Business and Economy Class cabins have also remained highly popular among business and leisure travelers, while its Boeing 777 cargo space continues to support Nigerian imports and exports.
“Customer feedback has been consistently positive, and our relationships with key stakeholders in Nigeria’s aviation, tourism, and trade sectors remain strong,” the airline stated.
Expansion with Air Peace Partnership
In February 2025, Emirates expanded its presence in Nigeria through an interline agreement with Air Peace, adding 13 new destinations within the country. This partnership enhances connectivity for Nigerian travelers, reinforcing Emirates’ commitment to growing its operations in the region.
The agreement was signed just five months after Emirates’ return to Nigeria, demonstrating the airline’s dedication to serving Nigerian passengers and businesses more effectively.
