The Federal Government, through the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), has suspended Max Air’s operations for three months following a tyre burst incident at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport on January 28, 2025.

  • Incident Overview: A Max Air aircraft (5N-MBD) suffered a tyre burst while landing in Kano at 10:51 PM. All 53 passengers onboard were safely evacuated.
  • NCAA’s Decision: The suspension takes effect from midnight, January 31, 2025.
