The development follows the announcement of the victims’ release by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, who disclosed the successful operation through his verified X account earlier on Friday.
The rescue has sparked widespread celebrations across Oyo State and beyond, with many Nigerians commending the gallantry of the security agencies and the commitment of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to securing the victims’ freedom.
Headlinenews.News will continue to monitor the briefing and provide updates as more details emerge.
