RIVERS RECONCILIATION DRIVE GAINS MOMENTUM AS FUBARA RECEIVES MAGNUS ABE-LED RAINBOW COALITION TEAM

Also on the committee’s delegation was Kingsley Chinda, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Rivers State.

The committee visited Governor Siminalayi Fubara on Sunday as part of efforts to strengthen reconciliation and promote greater political cooperation among stakeholders in the state.

The visit came days after Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory and former Rivers State governor, disclosed at a media briefing that a reconciliation committee led by Magnus Abe had been constituted to help consolidate the Rainbow Coalition in Rivers State.

Wike said the committee was established to engage political stakeholders and foster unity within the coalition ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The development highlights ongoing efforts by political actors to broaden the coalition and reconcile competing interests across Rivers State.

Governor Fubara received the delegation at the Government House, where he was joined by other stakeholders for a group photograph following the meeting.
