Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin has asserted that President Bola Tinubu’s positive gestures toward Kano State will be reciprocated with strong electoral backing from Kano residents in 2027.
Barau emphasized that Tinubu’s administration has shown goodwill and delivered on promises affecting the state, building a basis for enduring loyalty. He expressed confidence that this record would translate into “overwhelming support” from the people of Kano in the upcoming elections.
He added that political stakeholders in Kano have taken note of the administration’s efforts, and insisted that those efforts must reflect in votes. Barau urged party faithful to remain unified, continue grassroots mobilization, and ensure that all structures are in place to deliver the expected support at the polls.
In his remarks, he echoed the sentiment that political dividends follow good governance, and that the Kano electorate would reciprocate in kind by rallying behind Tinubu and the ruling party in 2027.
