Hospital Denies Issuing Drug Test Report as Regina Daniels’ Family Feud Deepens

Serenity Royale Hospital in Abuja has refuted a circulating medical document alleging that actress Regina Daniels is undergoing treatment for severe substance abuse.

The viral report claimed Daniels had been diagnosed with a substance use disorder and placed on a home-based detox programme starting September 24, 2025. It also carried the signature of the hospital’s Managing Director and Head of Clinical Services, Dr. Adekunle Adesina.

However, in a statement released on Thursday, the hospital firmly dismissed the document as fake.

“Our attention has been drawn to a post containing an alleged mid-term home detox report being circulated online in the name of Serenity Royale Hospital concerning Nwoko Regina. We categorically state that the publication and circulation of this document did not originate from us. We urge the public to disregard it,” the statement read.

Earlier in the week, Laila Charani, one of Ned Nwoko’s wives, accused Daniels on Instagram of introducing her to drugs and alcohol six years ago—behaviours she said nearly destroyed her marriage. She praised Nwoko for pushing for her rehabilitation and criticised Daniels for allegedly resisting similar intervention.

“You know my husband hates alcohol, drugs, and smoking. He has always said he would never accept any wife who indulges in such. The only reason you are fighting my husband is because he wants you to stop. Intervention saved me from a dark path,” Charani wrote.

Despite the controversy, Charani had recently been sharing family photos and videos, including a vacation clip captioned: “Too busy building my peace, life, and family—no time for anything else.”

Meanwhile, Daniels has continued responding online, insisting, “My ex-man never slept outside for one day in our seven years of marriage because, as a Delta babe, I held him well in the other room.”
