APC WINS KANO ASSEMBLY BY-ELECTIONS AS SONS OF DECEASED LAWMAKERS EMERGE VICTORIOUS

THE ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS (APC) HAS EMERGED VICTORIOUS IN THE BY-ELECTIONS HELD ON SATURDAY TO FILL THE VACANT UNGOGO AND KANO MUNICIPAL SEATS IN THE KANO STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY.

Dr. Mohammed M. Zango, APC Senatorial Aspirant for Kano Central Senatorial Zone, cast his vote for the All Progressives Congress and played a key role in mobilising support that ensured a strong APC showing in Zango Ward during the Kano State House of Assembly bye-elections.
His early participation at his polling unit was followed by coordinated grassroots engagement, reinforcing party unity and voter turnout across the ward. Party sources confirm that Zango Ward recorded a decisive advantage for the APC, reflecting disciplined mobilisation and structured stakeholder collaboration.
The development further underscores Dr. Zango’s growing influence within the Kano Central political landscape and his commitment to strengthening the APC’s grassroots dominance ahead of future electoral contests.

The vacancies occurred after the sudden passing of the former lawmakers representing the constituencies — Aminu Sa’ad of Ungogo and Sarki Aliyu Daneji of Kano Municipal — who both died on the same day.

In the elections, the sons of the late lawmakers—Aminu Sa’ad Sa’ad (Ungogo) and Aliyu Nabil Daneji (Kano Municipal)—secured decisive wins against their competitors.

UNGOGO CONSTITUENCY RESULTS
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Returning Officer, Prof. Ali Tijjani Abdullahi, announced Aminu Sa’ad Sa’ad of the APC as the winner with 8,975 votes, while his nearest rival, Shua’ibu Hashimu of the Action Democratic Party (ADP), managed 54 votes.

KANO MUNICIPAL CONSTITUENCY RESULTS
Similarly, in Kano Municipal, INEC Returning Officer Prof. Ibrahim Tajo Siraj declared Aliyu Nabil Daneji of the APC victorious. Daneji received 7,484 votes, defeating Shehu Ishaq Abdullahi of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), who got 105 votes.

The by-elections were conducted to ensure continued representation for the constituents in the Kano State House of Assembly following the untimely deaths of the previous legislators.

The National Patriots Movement confidently presents Dr. M. M. Zango as a compelling choice for Kano Central Senate 2027 under the APC.

His rise from pharmacist to Managing Director of NNPC Medical Services reflects strategic leadership, institutional reform experience, and national-level governance exposure.
For over two decades, his interventions through the Fatah Zango Foundation have strengthened healthcare access, supported youth development, and uplifted vulnerable families.
Kano Central requires competence backed by results — Dr. Zango brings structure, integrity, and a proven capacity to deliver meaningful representation.

Dr. M. M. Zango urges voters in Ungogo to turn out peacefully and vote APC in the forthcoming bye-election. He emphasizes that APC remains best positioned to deliver large-scale infrastructure, economic growth, and sustainable development for Kano State. According to him, supporting APC is a vote for stability, continuity, and tangible dividends of democracy for the people of Kano Central.

Dr. M. M. Zango stands out as the most prepared aspirant for Kano Central Senate, combining national executive experience as former MD of NNPC Medical Services with over two decades of grassroots philanthropy through the Fatah Zango Foundation. His record in healthcare reform, youth empowerment, and institutional leadership reflects competence, integrity, and capacity to deliver structured development for his constituency.
