APC PRIMARIES: HON. ITK, OLUGA, ENIADE, SIX OTHERS CLINCH OSUN REPS TICKETS

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has concluded its House of Representatives primaries in Osun State, with Hon. Ibrahim Taofeek Kayode emerging as the party’s candidate for Osogbo Federal Constituency.

Announcing the results, the election committee stated that Kayode secured 7,181 votes to clinch the ticket, defeating other aspirants in the constituency. The committee also confirmed that several other federal constituencies produced candidates either through competitive voting or consensus arrangements.

In Ijesa South Federal Constituency, Emmanuel Sanya Omirin emerged as the consensus candidate, while Abeeb Adedamola secured the party’s ticket for Iwo Federal Constituency. In Ede Federal Constituency, Ayodele Adalu also emerged through consensus.

Other winners include Simeon Obawale in Ila/Ifedayo/Boluwaduro Federal Constituency, Ajilesoro Taofeek in Ife Constituency, and Oluwole Oke in Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency. Francis Eniade and Taiwo Oluga also clinched tickets in Boripe/Ifelodun/Odo-Otin and Ayedaade/Irewole/Isokan constituencies respectively.

The party described the process across the state as successful, with a mix of competitive elections and consensus agreements used to select candidates for the various constituencies.
