A Nigerian student, Dr. Dorcas Akanbi, has graduated from a medical university in Russia with an outstanding cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 4.90 out of 5.00, earning a place among the institution’s top-performing graduates.
The newly qualified doctor shared the milestone on her X account, announcing her induction into the medical profession after successfully completing her medical education abroad.
Celebrating the achievement, Akanbi expressed gratitude for her academic journey, which took her from the University of Lagos to Russia, where she excelled in her studies.
During the graduation ceremony, she also delivered the valedictory speech in fluent Russian before fellow graduates, university officials, lecturers, family members, and invited guests.
