#Aid Worker Saves Abandoned Toddler Accused of Witchcraft in Akwa Ibom State

A one-year-old girl, allegedly accused of witchcraft and abandoned in a bush in Akwa Ibom State, has been rescued by Danish aid worker Anja Ringgren Loven, founder of the charity organization Land of Hope. Loven shared the rescue mission on her Facebook account, recounting the critical condition of the girl and her team’s swift response. Nsidibe Orok, Land of Hope’s Director of Child Development, led the rescue team and found the girl on the brink of death. Typically, children accused of witchcraft are left to perish in such circumstances. The rescued girl, now under the care of Land of Hope, is receiving the necessary support and attention.

In 2018, Loven gained national attention for her heroic act of saving a starving Nigerian toddler, who had been disowned by his family for alleged witchcraft.Breaking news HeadlineHeadline news
