Prince Andrew is facing renewed scrutiny as Channel 4 announces a new documentary examining the Epstein files.
The upcoming forensic series will be presented by Emily Maitlis, who previously conducted the widely discussed 2019 interview with Andrew on BBC Newsnight. The programme promises in-depth analysis, fresh testimony, and new insights into the network of individuals linked to Jeffrey Epstein and his long-running criminal activities.
According to Channel 4, the documentary aims to uncover how power, influence, and wealth may have shielded wrongdoing for years. While Andrew has consistently denied any allegations against him, past revelations tied to his role as the UK’s trade envoy have continued to draw public attention.

Speaking ahead of the release, Maitlis said the series is focused on seeking answers and giving voice to survivors. She described the Epstein case as one that exposes how systems meant to protect people can sometimes fail, especially when powerful figures are involved.
Channel 4’s Head of News and Current Affairs, Louisa Compton, also said the documentary would confront difficult truths about justice, accountability, and the influence of elite networks.
The development comes amid fresh calls from former UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown for Andrew to be re-interviewed by authorities. Brown has urged investigators to look again into the former royal’s conduct during his time as trade envoy, including questions around the use of public funds and alleged links to individuals connected to Epstein.
Andrew has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing, but the new documentary is expected to reignite debate around the case and the broader issues it raises about accountability and institutional oversight.
