#Pat Utomi Reveals: Peter Obi, Atiku, Kwankwaso Uniting for Mega Party in 2027 Against Tinubu

Pat Utomi has revealed that Peter Obi, Atiku, and Kwankwaso are in the process of forming a mega party to challenge Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

According to Headlinenews.news, Pat Utomi, a Political Economist, disclosed a plan by prominent opposition leaders to unite and establish a new mega party in preparation for the 2027 presidential election.

Utomi disclosed that he engaged in discussions with three presidential candidates, namely Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), exploring the possibility of a merger.

During an interview on Channels TV’s Politics Today, Utomi emphasized that the mega party aims to challenge and potentially replace the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). He outlined the motivation behind this move as an effort to rescue ordinary Nigerians from what he described as the APC’s control by a few individuals, characterizing it as a private enterprise.

The LP leader expressed concern about Nigeria’s deteriorating situation, attributing it to the absence of political parties willing to provide a clear direction for the country.

Utomi stated, “We are looking at a way Nigeria can work for everybody. Let us build a political party that can bring the issues to the forefront for all the Nigerian people to have a kind of consensus to solve problems.”

He criticized the prevalence of narcissism in Nigerian politics, advocating for leaders who are willing to selflessly contribute to nation-building. Utomi recounted conversations with presidential candidates such as Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar, and Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, suggesting their potential involvement in the formation of the mega party.

In conclusion, Utomi emphasized the importance of focusing on the ordinary citizens, moving beyond self-interest and working towards building a more productive economy.
