Twenty-four years after the International Court of Justice (ICJ) delivered its ruling on the Nigeria-Cameroon boundary dispute, the physical demarcation of the two countries’ border is nearing completion.
The development was disclosed as officials continued efforts to implement the ICJ judgment, which addressed the long-standing territorial dispute between Nigeria and Cameroon.
The border demarcation exercise involves the identification and marking of the agreed boundary points separating the two countries.

Officials involved in the exercise said significant progress has been made, with only some outstanding areas requiring attention before the demarcation process can be concluded.
