Denzel Henry Akogwu has advanced the operations of Elipse International Ltd following the company’s acquisition of a major infrastructure contract to install a modern 4,000-ton copper flotation plant in Nigeria.
The project marks a major expansion for the indigenous mining and mineral solutions company as it moves deeper into advanced mineral processing and value-added production.

The planned flotation plant is expected to improve the processing of locally sourced copper ore before export, allowing the company to produce higher-grade and high-purity mineral outputs that meet international industrial standards.
The facility will incorporate advanced processing methods such as crushing, grinding, flotation and refining to support large-scale refined mineral production.
Industry analysts say the development reflects Nigeria’s growing push toward mineral beneficiation and away from the long-standing practice of exporting raw mineral resources without local processing.

Elipse International’s business model focuses on integrating exploration, extraction, processing and export within a single operational chain, helping the company maintain product quality, improve efficiency and reduce supply risks for global buyers.
The company has already established mineral buying centres across several states including Jos, Zamfara, Niger, Bauchi and Nasarawa, creating a structured supply network that connects artisanal miners to formal markets.
Minerals sourced through these centres include copper, zinc, lead, tin, tantalite, columbite, zircon, antimony and monazite, among other industrial minerals.

The introduction of the flotation plant is expected to provide miners with improved access to formal processing systems and export channels, strengthening Nigeria’s solid minerals value chain.
The investment comes as Nigeria intensifies efforts to diversify its economy by developing the mining sector and reducing dependence on crude oil revenues.

Experts believe investments in local mineral processing infrastructure will help increase the country’s competitiveness in global mineral markets while boosting industrial development, job creation and technical expertise.
With global demand for critical minerals such as copper rising due to increased use in technology, infrastructure and renewable energy projects, the new facility is expected to position Elipse International more strongly within the international mining industry.
Since establishing the company in 2008, Akogwu has expanded Elipse International into a nationally recognised mining enterprise with licensed concessions across multiple Nigerian states.
