The All Progressives Congress has released its official timetable and schedule of activities ahead of the 2027 general elections, outlining key dates, nomination fees, and procedures for its primaries.
According to a statement signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu, the sale of nomination and expression of interest forms will begin on April 25, 2026, and run until May 2, 2026, at the party’s national secretariat. Submission of completed forms is expected to close on May 4.

The party also announced the cost of nomination forms across different elective positions. The presidential form has been pegged at ₦100 million, broken down into ₦30 million for expression of interest and ₦70 million for nomination. Governorship aspirants will pay ₦50 million, while Senate, House of Representatives, and State House of Assembly aspirants will pay ₦20 million, ₦10 million, and ₦6 million respectively.
Screening of all aspirants is scheduled for May 6 to May 8, with results to be released on May 11. Any appeals arising from the screening process will be heard between May 12 and May 13.

Presidential primaries are fixed for May 15 and 16, while other primaries will follow shortly after: House of Representatives on May 18, Senate on May 20, State Assembly on May 21, and governorship primaries on May 23. All appeal processes across categories are expected to conclude by May 25.
The timetable shows that all party primaries will be completed within an eight-day window.
The APC also provided concessions for female aspirants, youths, and persons with disabilities, who are required to pay only for the expression of interest form and 50 percent of the nomination fee.
The party stated that the schedule was designed in line with the Nigerian Constitution, the Electoral Act, and guidelines from the Independent National Electoral Commission.
