NIGERIAN STARS SET TO FLY SUPER EAGLES FLAG IN UEFA CLUB COMPETITIONS
The 2026/27 European football season will see several Nigerian players take centre stage across UEFA’s three major club competitions.
From established Super Eagles stars to promising young talents, Nigerian players are spread across some of Europe’s biggest clubs, competing in the UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Conference League.
One of the notable moves this summer was Femi Azeez’s transfer to Brighton & Hove Albion, where he is expected to feature in the club’s European campaign.
Here are the Nigerian players representing their clubs in UEFA competitions this season:
1. Victor Osimhen — Galatasaray | UEFA Champions League
Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen remains a key figure in Galatasaray’s attack as the Turkish giants prepare to compete against Europe’s best in the Champions League.
