A popular Nigerian ENT and Head & Neck Surgeon, Dr. Adefolaseye Adebayo, has been appointed as the Southwest Zonal Coordinator of a newly formed political pressure group known as the OK Movement.

The group is reportedly made up of supporters of former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi and former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso, with the aim of promoting a joint presidential ticket ahead of future elections.
The movement is believed to be aligned with political efforts pushing for Obi to secure a presidential ticket under the African Democratic Congress (ADC), while Kwankwaso is being considered as a possible running mate.

In a post shared on her X account on Monday night, Adebayo confirmed her acceptance of the appointment, expressing readiness to lead the group’s activities in the Southwest region.
She called on supporters across the region, including at state, local government, and ward levels, to join the movement, describing it as a united platform for political mobilisation.

According to her, the goal of the movement is to rally support for the Obi-Kwankwaso political alliance, which she described as a suitable leadership option for Nigeria’s future.
She also expressed confidence in the vision of both politicians, stating that their leadership would contribute to positive national development.

The emergence of the OK Movement adds to ongoing political realignments ahead of the next election cycle, as various groups position themselves around potential presidential contenders.
