Meanwhile, Operation Fasin Yamma (OPFY) troops countered multiple terrorist attacks across Katsina, Kebbi, and Zamfara States. In Katsina, 17 Brigade troops ambushed terrorists near Gatakawa village, recovering a motorcycle and phone. In Danmusa, soldiers repelled an attack on NSCDC operatives, though one officer succumbed to gunshot wounds.
