BREAKING: Tinubu Swears In Doro, Udeh As New Ministers

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sworn in Dr. Bernard Mohammed Doro and Mr. Kingsley Tochukwu Udeh as new ministers during a brief ceremony held on Thursday inside the Council Chamber of the State House, Abuja.

Dr. Doro, a pharmacist and lawyer from Plateau State, replaces former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, who recently became the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Mr. Udeh, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) from Enugu State, takes over from former Minister of Science, Innovation and Technology, Uche Nnaji, who resigned over certificate forgery allegations.

The Senate had confirmed Doro’s nomination in October and approved Udeh’s appointment earlier on Thursday after screening.

Before his appointment, Udeh served as the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice of Enugu State.

Following the swearing-in, President Tinubu opened the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, where he reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to unity, security, and economic recovery under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“Despite the political headwinds, we will continue to engage with our partners. The task ahead is immense, but we are resolved to move forward with unity and purpose, to build a prosperous, inclusive, and resilient Nigeria,” the President stated.
