Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar:

The Talbiyah of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him): “Labbayka Allaahumma labbayk, labbayka la sharīka laka labbayk, inna al-hamda wa an-ni‘mata laka wal-mulk, la sharīka lak.” (O Allah, I respond to Your call, I do respond. I respond to Your call, You have no partner, I do respond. Verily, praise, blessing, and sovereignty belong to You; You have no partner) He said: ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) used to add: Labbayka labbayka, wa sa‘dayka, wa al-khayru biyadayk. Labbayka wa ar-raghbā’u ilayka wa al-‘amal (I respond to Your call, I respond to Your call, and I ask You to make me happy.) Goodness is in Your Hands. I respond to Your call, and to You belong desires and actions).

Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim

*NOTES📝*

1. After wearing ihram, the person doing hajj Tamattu’ should say, “Labbayk Allaahumma bi ‘Umrah (Here I am, O Allah, for ‘Umrah).”

– If he is doing Qiraan, he should say, “Labbayk Allaahumma bi Hijjah wa ‘Umrah (Here I am, O Allah, for Hajj and ‘Umrah).”

– If he is doing Ifraad, he should say, “Labbayk Allaahumma Hajjan (Here I am, O Allah, for Hajj).”

– Then he should recite the Talbiyah as described in the Hadith.

2. Men should raise their voices when saying this, but a woman should recite in such a manner that those who are beside her can hear it, unless there is a man beside her who is not one of her mahrams, in which case she should recite it silently.

3. The muhrim (person who has entered ihraam) should recite the Talbiyah a great deal, especially when circumstances and times change, such as when going up to a high place or going down to a low place, or when night or day begin. After that he should ask Allah for His good pleasure and for Paradise, and seek refuge in His Mercy from the Fire.

*O Allah, accept the Hajj of the pilgrims, forgive their sins, and return them safely. Strengthen Islam and the Muslims worldwide. Grant us goodness in this life and the Hereafter, and protect us from the Fire. Ãmeen*

Jummat Mubarak.

May this blessed Friday bring tranquility to your heart, نور to your path, and barakah to your home and loved ones.
“So remember Me; I will remember you. Be grateful to Me and do not deny Me.” — Surah Al-Baqarah 2:152

Ya Allah, on this sacred day of Jumu’ah, forgive the sins we remember and the ones we have forgotten.
Heal every silent pain, calm every anxious heart, and open doors of mercy, peace, good health, and honour for us and our families.
“My Lord, expand my chest and ease my task for me.” — Surah Taha 20:25-26

May Allah grant us the sweetness of old memories filled with gratitude, the wisdom to cherish fleeting moments, and the grace to meet again in goodness, love, and faith.
May our departed loved ones be enveloped in divine mercy and our living hearts never drift far from Allah’s remembrance.
Ameen Ya Rabbil Alameen.
