#President Tinubu Directs Security Agencies to Rescue Kidnapped Schoolchildren in Kaduna.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has issued a directive to security agencies to undertake all necessary measures to rescue the 287 kidnapped schoolchildren in Kuriga, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State. Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima conveyed this message during a sympathy visit to Kaduna State Government, emphasizing the urgency of leaving no stone unturned until the children are safely returned to their parents.

During a closed-door meeting with Kuriga community leaders, parents of the abducted children, security chiefs, and state government officials, Vice President Shettima also urged media caution in reporting to safeguard the security of the kidnapped children, highlighting the paramount importance of government’s responsibility to protect citizens’ lives and property.

He assured that President Tinubu is fully committed to addressing the situation, having instructed security agencies to prioritize the safe return of the abducted children. Governor Uba Sani, while expressing gratitude for the Vice President’s visit, reiterated the government’s determination to collaborate with security agencies and the community to ensure the children’s safe return, urging the media to exercise discretion in their reporting to avoid endangering the lives of the children.
