#Title President Tinubu Set To Attend Second Swearing In Ceremony For Imo Governor, Commissions Reconstructed Airport Road

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scheduled to grace the second swearing-in ceremony of Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma. The event is set to kick off at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri, the state capital, in a few hours on Monday, January 15th.

Prior to the ceremony, President Tinubu will preside over the commissioning of the revamped Airport Road. The road has undergone a transformation from two lanes to four, with added side lighting from Owerri-Aba Road to the Airport, including new twin toll gates.

Accompanying the President will be officials and members of the National Assembly, participating in the commissioning of various state projects. The attendees will include party chieftains of the All Progressives Congress, members of the Progressive Governors Forum, and select members of President Tinubu’s cabinet.

Governor Uzodimma’s victory in all 27 local government areas of Imo State during the November 11th election led to his declaration by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The state is now in a celebratory mood, with Owerri, the capital city, ready to receive dignitaries.

Stringent security measures have been put in place to manage the expected crowd and ensure the smooth conduct of the events.
